The Lutz Auto Speedometer Calibrator is designed to calibrate your speedometer to display the correct speed, compensating for any modification that affects the speedometer calibration (ie. tire size and gearing changes).
Simple buttons are used to change the speed calibration - No complicated dip switches, computer apps, or programming to deal with. This kit is designed to be plug and play with 2005-2006 1st Gen Toyota Tundra's. NO WIRING MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED.
This calibrator works like this:
After installing, the speedometer calibrator will need to be adjusted properly by pressing the buttons on the remote button board. Each button press adjusts the speed by plus or minus 1/2%. Pressing and holding both up and down buttons for 15 seconds will reset the speed to factory setting. After adjustment is completed the remote button board will be disconnected and stored.
