Plug and play for the 2010-2023 Lexus GX460. The Lutz Auto Speedometer Calibrator corrects the speedometer and odometer after larger tires, gearing changes, or any other modification that affects the factory speedometer calibration. No cutting, splicing, or wire modifications are required, and the product installs behind the gauge cluster.
When tire size or gearing changes, the vehicle can travel farther or shorter than the factory speed signal expects. This can make the speedometer read incorrectly and cause the odometer to add miles at the wrong rate. This calibrator corrects both the speedometer and odometer rate. Simple up and down buttons are used to change the speed calibration. There are no complicated dip switches, computer apps, programming tools, or weird controls to deal with. See the downloadable instructions for full installation details.
Zero power consumption with the key off while maintaining normal factory functionality. Not every speedometer calibrator can say this.
This calibrator works like this:
After installation, the speedometer calibrator will need to be adjusted properly by pressing the buttons on the remote button board. Each button press adjusts the speed by plus or minus 1/2%. Pressing and holding both the up and down buttons for 15 seconds will reset the speed to the factory setting. After adjustment is completed, the remote button board can be disconnected and stored. This product only adjusts the speedometer and odometer rate.
It does not adjust the displayed set speed for assisted cruise control. In other words, cruise control will continue to function normally, but the set speed shown on the digital display may still show the speed it showed before installing this calibrator. The speedometer and odometer will remain corrected.
