These 2 prong connectors are made to replace the factory pieces behind the fuel, oil pressue, coolant temp, and batt voltage gauges on Porsche instrument clusters. They are direct replacement pieces and install the same as factory with no modifications. 
 
These are made with slightly longer prongs than the factory to ensure contact when using one of our circuitboad kits which are a bit thicker than the originall flexible circuit. Some year 928 vehicles (79, and 85-88 specifiically)  came with very short prongs on the factory pieces necessitating a longer replacement part, but these can be used as replacements for any year that uses the 2 prong connectors.
