This kit is designed to fix a common issue on many Subaru ECU’s. If your Check Engine Light is on due to code p0459 ( EVAP system canister purge solenoid valve circuit high), installing this kit will likely fix the issue. Check to make sure that your purge solenoid valve isn’t actually shorted high causing this code. If the solenoid valve circuit isn’t shorted and the valve is in working condition, then the problem is likely a burnt component in the ECU which this kit is designed to replace.
