This is a plug and play alarm/keyless entry adapter for Lexus LX450's (DOES NOT FIT LANDCRUISER). The factory RS3000 alarm system is prone to failure, quality remotes are nearly impossible to find, and the remote distance is horrible. The included circuite board adapter includes all needed connectors, diodes, and other circuity to allow you to add an aftermarket alarm/keyless entry system without cutting or splicing any factory wires. You wire the aftermarket alarm to this adapter and then plug it straight into the factory connectors under the driver seat. Easy to install and if your aftermarketalarm ever fails, you can plug in a new one with minimal effort.
This adapter can use many aftermarket alarms, but was designed specifially with the VIPER or AVITAL alarm/keyless entry systems in mind. The instructions are written around the VIPER or AVITAL alarm/keyless entry system, but can be crossreferenced for a different brand. VIPER and AVITAL have several tiers of alarms and keyless entry systems - All will work with the adappter, but note that this adapter does not support remote start. If you plan to use any remote start functions, you will need to wire that portion separately.

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A TOYOTA LANDCRUISER WITH A FACTORY RS3000 ALARM/KEYLEESS ENTRY SYSTEM, WE WOULD LIKE TO MAKE AN ADAPTER FOR YOUR TRUCK. IN EXCHANGE FOR A FREE ADAPTER, WE WOULD NEED YOU TO PROVIDE THE PINOUT OF YOUR RS3000 UNIT. THE CONNECTORS ARE THE SAME, BUT THE PIN LOCATIONS ARE SWAPPED AROUND COMPARED TO THE LX450. THE LANDCRUISER WIRING DIAGRAMS DID NOT INCLUDE THE RS3000. IF YOU HAVE A LANDCRUISER AND ARE HANDY WITH A MULTIMETER, PLEASE CONTACT US.
